I have made and played many flat top steel string guitars over the years. Never have I been more impressed than with the sound quality of the double top guitar. These guitars are referred to as "double tops" because of their particular style of construction .

The light weight double top will resonate much more easily and interact with the player in a far more dynamic fashion. Delicate passages are full and deep. Loud passages are robust and powerful. The guitar becomes a more complete extension of the player due to this improved responsiveness. Please visit the Gallery to see what I've done for others.
